The Weaving Shed is a spacious outdoor area connected directly to the Cotton Room through seven double doors. On sunny days, it provides an ideal setting for your drinks reception, with stunning views of the Millennium Walkway and the River Goyt flowing over the weir below.
As evening falls, the space transforms into a truly dramatic and atmospheric setting. Festoon lighting illuminates the area, while the original exposed stone walls tower above.
If you choose to celebrate outdoors on the Weaving Shed for your ceremony or reception, there are plenty of anchor points throughout the space, allowing decorations to be easily strung, hung or displayed to create a setting that is uniquely yours.
The open layout of the Weaving Shed also makes it a fantastic space for live music and entertainment, creating a relaxed atmosphere where guests can gather, enjoy a drink and soak up the celebrations.
The industrial backdrop, festoon lighting and surrounding architecture also provide the perfect setting for memorable group photographs, giving you plenty of opportunities to capture fun moments with all your guests together.
